Bill Paying
When a person is unable to attend to day-to-day business such as bill paying, that job must be done by someone else, usually the trustee of a revocable trust or an agent under a general power of attorney. Virginia Fiduciary will provide that service when we serve as trustee and agent under a general power of attorney.

Agent under General Power of Attorney
Comprehensive estate planning contemplates not only death but disability. A complex estate plan includes a durable general power of attorney under which the appointed agent may handle assets not appropriately held in a revocable trust, such as retirement accounts. Unlike many corporate fiduciaries, Virginia Fiduciary will act as agent under a general power of attorney if we are also acting as trustee of a revocable trust.
